Startup & Process

First, we reach out to the utility company to coordinate the disconnection of power. On the scheduled day, we transport the generator, along with its pad, to the predetermined location. Next, we begin by mounting the transfer switch and establishing connections for wiring and gas piping. This phase typically spans about 6 hours, adjusting as needed for specific circumstances. We bring a backup generator so your home can still run basic devices while the work progresses. Work from home? No problem!

Inspection & Activation

Upon completion of the initial installation, wiring, and connections, we contact the virtual inspection team representing the state of Washington. We guide them through your Generac installation process to secure their approval. Once granted, they provide us with a utility PIN number, facilitating the eventual reconnection of power by the utility company. Simultaneously, we engage with Generac to activate the generator, ensuring the warranty is registered and ready for any potential future use.

Connection & Walkthrough

In instances where the reconnection by the utility company may take some time, we can utilize the generator to power the home, replicating the conditions experienced during an actual outage. When the utility company returns to restore power, we deactivate the generator and provide the customer with a comprehensive walkthrough of the entire process. Additionally, we offer insights into maintenance requirements and discuss available maintenance agreements to ensure the ongoing reliability of the generator.
