As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I quickly discovered after closing that we had far more work ahead of us than expected. We needed a full electrical rewire AND a brand-new HVAC system in a home that we quickly realized needed much more due diligence in the inspection process... We were nervous and overwhelmed.

From the very first conversation with Ricky, the owner, we felt like we were in great hands. He walked us through everything upfront, answered every question (like a hundred) we had before we even accepted the bid, and always met us at our knowledge level to help us understand the process.

The main crew we worked with day-to-day (Brandon, Jacob, and Kat) were kind and incredibly professional. Because this was a full rewire and required running new vent ducts throughout the home, it was an invasive process. We knew going in there would be holes cut into walls and ceilings, and that was honestly terrifying to us. But the team was completely transparent about it, kept the impact as minimal as possible, and asked us before cutting into anything beyond what was expected. We left for about a week and a half, and when we came back, the work that had been done far exceeded our expectations given the scope of the project. We have a lot of work to do now patching the holes, but they did their best to make it as minimal as possible.

Beyond just the immediate work, they also had the foresight to run new wiring for future remodels we're planning (extra outlets, new lighting) so that when we're ready, everything is already in place. That kind of forward-thinking felt like they genuinely cared about our home and our future in it, not just the job in front of them.

Lastly, shoutout to Michelle in the office. Every time I called with a question (and there were many), she was very kind and quick to follow-up on next steps.

Ricky is very friendly and professional! He saved us after a week without power in our master bathroom by replacing an outlet. I felt like he was very thorough in diagnosing the issue, and he offered us guidance and suggestions for the future without making me feel any pressure. He went above and beyond!

I would give Mauro 10 stars if I could. I have a Briggs and Stratton standby generator. In the last storm it didn't fire up. I called every electrician (I thought) including the Briggs and Stratton authorized service centers. No one would even come out and look at it. The only option I was given was to spend between $18000- $26000 on a new generator. I finally accepted that I had to purchase a new generator and was about to accept a quote when Facebook (first time I was glad that they listen in to conversations) displayed an ad for Mauro Electric. They had amazing reviews so I thought I would get a quote from them for a new generator. When emailing they responded and asked why I wanted a new generator I explained no one would come look at my Briggs and Stratton and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. They came out 2 days later - I needed a good cleaning/servicing and a new battery. They could have been like every other electrician I called and sold me a brand new generator. Instead, they approached my situation with honesty and integrity. In total I spent about $700 repairing my generator. Thank you Mauro Electric.

I am truly impressed with the team from Mauro Electric. From the estimate to the installation, the process was smooth and problem free. The estimate was very reasonable, and scheduling was quick. The technician Edwin A. was very professional, hardworking, and had the details of my needs communicated to him. This resulted in a great finished project and a worry-free approval from Labor and Industries (permitting agency). I have used Mauro electric for years. I had two chirping smoke detectors and a third I thought would also start chirping. I asked that all three be replaced with 10-year models and batteries. The service from Kegan and Brendan was excellent. They arrived on time; they were exceedingly professional. While Brendan installed new smoke detectors, Kegan and I did a detailed review of lighting in the condo and discussed options. Kegan helped me understand the lighting that I have, and what might be done to make it easier for me to change the lightbulbs. Anyone who has had to deal with chirping smoke detectors knows how maddening that can be. Therefore, I am extremely grateful to Kegan and Brendan for solving my problem, and therefore restoring peace and quiet to the condo.

Truly, we are beyond delighted with the service and care we received from Mauro Electric. Ricky Mauro came to assess our under-kitchen-cabinet lighting electrical problem, and he was so kind, focused, and immediately discerning of the problem and perceptive about the solution. Then he sent Orlando and a colleague to come make the repair, and they, too, were kindly communicative, thoughtful, and amazingly effective at getting our kitchen lighting better than it was before. We hired Mauro Electric for multiple jobs for our home that included 1) Electric panel upgrade 2) Install two ceiling fans replacing light fixture 3) Upgrade old bathroom bent fan to bluetooth fan 4) Install EV 50A charger in Garage 5) Add socket for a dedicated Smart Toilet 6) Add socket for Smart Water leak detector.

I loved their service right from the start to finish.
I had invited multiple bids for the project and Mauro Electric's assessment of my project was at a great price and came with highly detailed explanation with their estimate.

What I loved about Mauro Electric is their insight on meeting the city code and especially understanding the risk of not doing it right. Following was the eye-opener from Mauro's wisdom books.

For example, most homes do not have light fixtures in the bedrooms capable of installing a ceiling fan. I thought I could do this job myself watching some youtube videos. Trust me, not worth the risk and the pain. It took 2 members of their team good 2.5-3 hours to install ceiling fans in 2 bedrooms that required them to install mount brackets by making several adjustments from attic.

As for Bidet (Smart Toilet), I had another revelation that I wasn't aware of. It requires 20A dedicated circuit breaker wiring to meet the code. I was planning to just jump extra connection from existing outlet. Could have backfired as smart toilets use significant energy for seat/water heating. You don't want the circuit to trip while using it.

I was well advised for my EV car charger as well. The differences of level 1,2 chargers, hard wiring etc. and how market is moving forward in the future. Great insight.

The service team under Ricky M. and Daniel Dominguez have delivered nothing less than fantastic output for all of the jobs they executed. The cherry on the top was their guarantee on the all of the work they delivered for my home that lasts at least a year and even beyond if they don't meet their highest quality promise.

I must add that I am DIY enthusiastic but for the jobs mentioned for this review must have a licensed electrician like Mauro Electric to do it right and do it well. Highly recommend them.
